Many times when I pull the trigger on the first shot it does not shoot. I jack the shell out and put another one in the chamber and then it will shoot. You can see that the firing pin struck the primer but apparently not hard enough to make it fire. It is about 50%. I have missed out on many shots at birds because of this. I can't figure out if I am doing something wrong when I load the gun or is it a firing pin problem. I got the gun about 6 years ago and it has done it pretty much every since i got it. I was always told that it was operator error but i don't think so. I have an older original super black eagle that never does this.

When you chamber the first shell how do you do it?

I pull the bolt back until it locks, stick a shell in and push the release button
