I live in Texas and will get hunting in Oklahoma next week. I believe all I need to get is a nonresident license and Oklahoma duck stamp. My federal stamp I have on my Texas Hunt License will cover that. Am I correct with my assumption?

Federal migratory stamp is good in any state. You are correct about needing the other states license and endorsement.

Yes, you only need the non-resident license

Also, if you get their nonresident year license it is good for all of 2015, so you can hunt next November with that option. Consider that in your choice of getting a 5 day vs year.
You also need the Oklahoma specific migratory stamp and Oklahoma HIP endorsement

Being a lifetime license holder in OK, I never had to buy one and did not even know about it. Nice catch. Looks like you will need HIP ($0), OK waterfowl license ($10), OK NR hunting license ($75/5day or $142/year).

One other small note you can do all of this on line and print your license out. Go To Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation - Annual License.

One other thing that you need to consider...if you are hunting public you will also need to buy the Conservation Passport ($25-$30) unless you buy an annual license.

You will also need the HIP permit. You can print it online for free or go to Walmart and pay $3

You positive about that? mohunter, yes I am positive about that. if you buy an annual NR license you are exempt, but you must have it to access public lands (WMAs)... Straight from the OK license webpage: 2015 Wildlife Conservation Passport 1/15/2015 to 12/31/2015 "Required of all individuals, residents and nonresidents, who enter Department owned lands, unless exempt. Exemptions include persons who possess an annual hunting, fishing, or combination license; a lifetime hunting, fishing, or combination license; senior citizen lifetime hunting, fishing, or combination license; disability hunting or fishing license; and residents under age 18." $26

I did not realize the OP was hunting a WMA, just thought he was asking about hunting public lakes.

Attention rickym, this is not a troll post, just a good hearted fun type of post

nochance4win, let me know how printing out your license works out for you. I need to buy mine for a hunt in OK next weekend. It's pretty simple...just click "print" or CTL+P. The hunting is horrible up there...I wouldn't waiste your money.
