Has anyone ever been hunting in South Eastern Oklahoma? I will be hunting with some buddies in the Rosedale, OK area for a bachelor party for the day Saturday then moving on to downtown for some other activities.

I have only been duck hunting at the Texas coast and never ponds. Any advice? Maybe someone can tell me how the birds are flying this time of year in the area. Thanks guys! Happy Hunting!

I'm just south of that area. Birds have been hit and miss for us since Christmas. The good news is, I saw more birds today than I have in a month. Most ponds in the area hold lots of gadwall, ringnecks, mallards and widgeon.
Good luck!

Thanks Ridn9high. I hope they stick around for one more week. I will definitely have to report on my hunt when I come back. Any geese or sandhill's in the area?
