The time-tested best way to attract game to your stand is to forget your ammo.

Am I right?

Probably one of the best attractants for me is one I make myself. I use light Karo syrup and either grape or cherry kool-aid. the syrup is very sweet and the kool-aid is sweet and provides a great scent. I mix it and poor on an old trashcan lid that I have staked to the ground . Hogs LOVE it!!

HOG JUICE

Fill a 5 gallon plastic bucket 2/3 full of corn
Add a box of cheap strawberry jello
Add a tall boy of cheap beer
Add a package of dried yeast
Stir in the ingredients as you fill the bucket with water.
Cap it off with a tight lid and let it ferment.

The beer kicks start the fermentation with the yeast. It would work without the beer but the beer speeds up the process. Helps to stir the concoction occasionally.

Pretty soon you will have five gallons of nasty ^^^^ that pigs think is heaven. Don't get greedy and use up the entire bucket. Take some and leave some for a "starter" for the next batch. All you have to do is add more corn and water and you can keep the "juice" going forever.

A word to the wise. When you are transporting juice to the site, make sure you have a sturdy container with a tight lid. A spill will give your hunting wagon a distinctive smell.

About a year ago I did a juice fast for a week. Decided to take the pulp from the fruits and veggies, mixed in some water, put it into ice cube trays....Jackpot! The piggies loved it!

Hogs will eat most anything the baits listed above will work. The real purpose to these baits is to hold the hogs in one particular spot longer so you can shoot them. If you do not have hogs spreading corn around will not make hogs appear. Something stinky that they can smell further off can draw them in if they smell it. Diesel fuel added to corn does not attract them it just keeps the deer and livestock out.

Things I like to use are fish flavored cat food and or fish food pellets they seem to like it but again they have to smell it.

A couple years back someone gave me a bottle of "sow in heat" thinking it was just a gimmic I poured the whole bottle on a large dead tree in the middle of a pasture, sure enough I killed four boars at that tree. I have never seen that brand again if I do ill buy it.

Ditto. They seem to range. They come and go. If they are around...they will eat what's in front of them

Best I have used is strawberry jello brand jello mixed with corn. Make corn piles and pour jello powder on top, has worked many many times.
