Call me paranoid but all this chit has me concerned when these azz holes will try to hit here..
Anyway, I'm looking at a Short Barrel AR, maybe the Daniel Defense 10.5" barrel, can I legally own this SBR??
Also, I think if we (non class-3) use an SBR , the "flash hider needs to be "pinned, welded" in place.
If I can own one can the flash hider be removed for a suppressor??
Thanks!!

If you put that upper on a rifle lower you need a tax stamp (form1). Unless you buy the complete SBR from a manufacture you need a tax stamp on a form4. Once you have that tax stamp you can run any length barrel on that lower without anything being welded or pinned.

Basically if you have an AR lower already, make you a trust and file a form 1 online and register your lower as a SBR. Once this is done you can put any length barrel upper on that lower.
