Big brother and me made a sneak last night and got on hogs pretty quick. We have a big group of hogs coming to a corn pile like clock work so we got the wind right and moved in on them. We got to about 20 yrds and a good sow got a bit spooked and put the group on alert. They bunched up but started feeding again so I picked one out and let the Bob Lee eat. 20 yrds right behind the shoulder quartering away so the Magnus 2 blade hit the offside shoulder. Short 20 yrds later he was down and my little JRT pup got to be a part of his first tracking job lol! Ain't Nothing like spot and stalk hog hunting at night with the trad gear. Big brother is up Monday night so be looking for more pics in the days to come....here is a pic of the little boar with Trapper trying to figure out what the heck is going on

What arrows and size broadhead does Bob like?

Digging the traditional gear.

Would like to see a traditional forum on here in the future.

It ain't easy being me.

Gold tip 5575s with 100 grain inserts and a 125 grain magnus stinger.
If your looking for a solid trad forum Texas bowhunter is the best out there.

Nice job and congratulations on getting done with traditional equipment. I've taken down a lot of game with a longbow myself.

Yea that hunt at Buffs is a great time. I'll be working this year but my brother will be there.

Traditional will be my next adventure. Used to love shooting traditional but have never hunter or killed with it. Congrats on the kill and stalking it is like icing on the cake.

What do you use for lighting when stalking at night?

Good looking pup up

We just corn roads as well as put out a few pig pipes. We shine from the truck with a red lens on our spotlight then when we see hogs we get on foot with our recurves set up with bowlights (we use NEBO Redline lights with pressure switch from Academy). We have lots of success and lots of fun doing it this way.
