I am looking at getting a new rifle. Some might say I am putting to much thought into it. The majority of the rifles I own are Remington 700's and a Ruger M-77.
I was looking at a couple of different brands and was hoping to get some feed back on them.
The brands were
Nosler M48 Patriot Sako Graywolf Laminated Stainless Weatherby Vanguard RC Remington CDL Stainless
Any opinions or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thk you Steven

My CDL is the best hunting rifle I've ever had. Light and accurate, and I like the 24" barrel.

Pass up the vanguard and get the mark V RC
I own or have owned Brownings, m77's, model 70's and model 700's and I treated myself to a mark V accumark this year and have thoroughly enjoyed the rifle

I'd go with nosler out of those. I have a nosler Trophy Grade that shoots factory ammo under a 1" at 200yds. Have seen others do it too.

I own both a M48 Legacy and a Sako 85 and honestly it's a toss up between those two. Can't really go wrong with either as far as I am concerned. The Sako action is perhaps slightly smoother but the Nosler wood is nicer. They both fit me well and they are both shooters. I like the Cerakote finish on the Nosler a little better than the stainless but that's just personal preference.
Good luck.

I'd want a rifle capable of consistent small groups and the ability to put that first shot where I aimed -- regardless of brand. Have you thought about a custom-build job with a guarantee of accuracy of some kind (if there is such a thing)?
