To cold to take the ranger yesterday so took the yard troll out for a loop in a heated vehicle. I got greedy on a bachelor group and got closer than they liked. The ones coming up from the river bottom in the lower pasture don't let you get as close as the ones that are there 24/7. But here's part of the tour.

They put hoods on those carhart jackets to use as a handle to jerk kids back down in their seats. He was screaming at the does, they didn't care. The buck really didn't care either, but it was going to get to the woods to feel safe about it. That bachelor group thought he may have had a tag. One buck in there was a pretty good buck, from what I could tell in the binocs he was an 11. When they ran he said "UHHHHHHHH OHHHHHHHHHH".

Nice pics. Several of those deer sure look skinny though which is weird ssince all the ones I see around here are thick and fat.
