I did a euro on a friends buck and he was missing a tooth. No hole in the jaw bone I don't think he ever had one.

Was the deer from East Texas? It's pretty common over there....

Shot a big 7pt a few years ago that is missing that same tooth on both sides and it appears there is no damage to the skull. I also have wondered what the cause was, did he loose it or just never have it. Mine was aged at 5.5 YO and was from Duval Co.
