Saw and ad for the Remington's new V3 semi-auto and I and first thing I thought was "I want one". However, is it just me or is Remington turning into a smoke and mirrors company? I think of it as seeing a hot girl at a bar, your all excited, then you get her home and she washes off her make-up, takes off her padded bra, and unclips her extensions; then you look at her and think I bought a Remington 700 and was all pumped, only to find out the triggers were recalled due to misfires and my bolt lugs need truing. Also, when the R 51 came out I thought I was going to make it my new EDC pistol until I saw all the horrible reviews which kept me from buying one. What do y'all think?

Hmmm...Remington has definitely lost a large part of their market, everyone wants a "B" gun and there's a reason for it. The new and varied gas ports they talk about, once they're proven, could possibly bring them back, especially if they're going to stay a few hundred below the others. With the rib slightly angled it looks like they're going for a 60/40 pattern, something a lot of aftermarket ribs have become popular for...offering something like this, that has become popular but others don't offer, (that I know of), could help.

If it runs and fits you, go for it.
I like Remington fine and I own a few. But I did not see anything all that wildly interesting or "new". He said, "It runs completely differently from any other shotgun before..." You mean, you pull the trigger, and it goes bang... sounds familiar.

I love my 11-87 PL, but I don't trust Freedom Group QC anylonger. I have been burned.

I don't trust Freedom Group QC anylonger. I see QC problems here in the store with many Freedom products.

I bought a new Marlin 22 bolt action, and the iron sighs were off center so bad I had to install a scope.
