What are the makers and styles of small revolvers. A colored front sight would be nice and also light weight. I don't want a 357

What should I research and play with? This might be a secondary for work so SW and Ruger only.

Strictly for carry I like the air weight. My buddy has one that I carried for a while and they are very light. I never could find one in stock when I wanted to buy one though so I don't have one yet.

Ruger has the LCR in 9mm and .22 mag.

I bought my wife an S&W 36 that had been ported and tuned at the factory. After I fired it the first time, I didn't want to give it back to her. There's stuff out there that's less expensive, certainly ...

I saw that 9mm, it has perked my interest. 22mag isn't big enough per company policy

I like the the 4 inch S&W 460 for concealed carry.

I kid I kid... I like the 8 3/4 460 for concealed carry, mine has night sights if so desired but I topped it with a Burris FastFire 3. I like IWB carry

The only smith 9mm revolvers I saw on their website wouldn't be easily concealable.

I have a Ruger LCR X in 38 special. They make a colored front sight for it-there was an add im the box for a place to order front sight.

They make the regular LCR and the LCR x is the same pistol but hammer is exposed so you can [censored] it-I like the x model and it hasn't posed a problem with snagging on clothing or anything.

Easy to conceal, I can slip it into the front pocket of my jeans.

I will never complain about trying to hide my 6" 66 ever again, though I don't think my arms are long enough or my shoulders flexible enough to draw that beast from the that sword scabbard of kydex!

Good Lord. He carries a cannon. I didn't know anyone made iwb holsters that big. I am jealous of the gun. Don't think I could carry it concealed.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

I've got a Ruger LCR 38 Special. Light, hammerless and comfortable grip. It's nice, but you have to get used to shooting it since the grip angle is different than mag fed pistols.

I have a Taurus Model 85 titanium, hammerless. .38 special. Its a great carry gun, VERY light in a Nemesis holster, slides right into a pocket.

I would definitely look at the Ruger LCR. I like their new one in 9mm with full moon clips, or .38 plus +. I like hammerless for concealment

If you have a bigger budget, the S&W Airweight with a custom action job and "real" sights.

S&W 642 is a great backup gun. Shoots +P 38spl and is light and concealable. No hammer to snag on your clothes. I've carried one for years and love it

I carry a Taurus 851 Airwieght .38+P Shrouded hammer CIA. Sometimes it's my back up but sometimes it's my primary CCW.

Unfortunately not too popular and no longer in production. Mine is the brushed titanium model. Shoots well. Kills big hogs dead with a head shot in the Hydr-Shok rounds.

Cimarron offers a scaled-down, reduced size Single Action Army called the model P Jr.that looks interesting.

You can get it with two cylinders in 32-20 and .32 H&R, or one cylinder in .38 special.

Cimarron Model P Jr.

I've been thinking about one of these in 32-20.

M&P340 or 340PD...super light weight....38SPL, .38SPL+P OR .357. I carry it with a .38SPL+P. 5 rounds and another 5 rounds on a stripper clip in my pocket. big dot front night sight.

Just got one in and I'm selling my 642-2 (.38SPL+P)

Those mp are the bomb but so is the price. The sights are what sell them.

I'm looking at the 638 also

I think the LCR feels like it has had a trigger job right out of the box, and a hair lighter weight than the S&W 442. The trigger is quite smooth.

How much is a trigger job or action job on a revolver? A good trigger is important to me.
