I like the smaller size of the reaper better than the 400. Just a little handier in the stand.

Would say pretty close on quality. That said Barnett does seem a bit more responsive on parts for warranty work.

Never tried the Reaper but can say my Quad 400, and my Buddy's, get the job done time after time. Great value.

I have a Barnett Penetrator and Hellcat, both shoot to 350 fps and are very accurate. They are a little loud and heavy but I sure do like the speed and punching power at that $500 price range. You can get quieter but it will run you $1000+ and won't be significantly faster than 350fps.
