I'm gonna go ahead & offer up my 100 acre wheat field for year round lease. I'm asking $1,500 & a couple of afternoons of labor, fixing up the place. Located 15 minutes south of Graham on the Young/Stephens county line. Right off a county road, it's easy to get to.
The field is shaped like a football field, & 95% of it is wheat. I will have a 6'x4' stand in place soon for the hunter to use. No additional stands are wanted. There is 1 tree near the tank which could be used for bow hunting. I will allow 1 buck, 1 spike, & 1 doe (a barren doe taken only during spike/doe season). All the hogs & coyotes you want to shoot also. Dove allowed also. No small game like rabbits or squirrels allowed. There are a few trails across the field used by game.
No friends allowed. Only immediate family (wife/girlfriend/kids). Camping permitted, but there is no water or electric hook up.
$1,500 cash, 1/2 now & 1/2 by Sept 1. As for the labor involved, I need about 10 post holes dug to my specs. Also there is a pile of rocks I need loaded on my trailer. Might have a few other odds & ends. Maybe 2 or 3 afternoons of semi-hard work. If you have a high school kid who wants to hunt & doesn't mind a little work, that'd be perfect.
