Have a new stripped dpms comp upper and put is on a lower to check fit. Lower is off of a working gun, and the take down pin doesn't line up. It's close and could be tapped in but it is tighter than it should be. What do I need to do? Checked this on 2 different working lowers and did not fit either lower. Thanks in advance.

Call DPMS and complain.

The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.
