QAD, I like as little of the bow as possible touching my arrows before and during flight. I don't like the fact that the fletching's of the arrow have to pass through "whiskers".
Why is it that every time I push #1 for english, I cannot understand the person on the other end???

I recently just switched to QAD after using a whicker biscuit for 10 years. QAD is the way to go. technology has came along way since the whisker biscuit was first released.

Just went back to whisker biscuit on one of my bows and will likely put one on a couple more bows soon. If you sit in a stand mostly and don't do much walking then I guess it don't matter but a few days ago I was stalking pigs in some nasty briars and having an arrow knocked that wouldn't come off the string or even move was great. I killed two whitetail from the ground at less than 20 yards this year so the folks that say a biscuit is loud maybe have deer with better ears than mine.

You probably have a better chance of an arrow falling out of a biscuit than you do a full containment QAD. I made the switch a few years ago and glad I did.

Depending if you want to tie it into your down cable or if you just want to use the cable clamp that comes with the QAD when you purchase it. Check on ebay for used ones or even NIB but at a fraction of the price in a big box store.

Not trying to take over your post Spencer but I'm thinking of switching as well and wanted to ask these guys a question. Does anyone have any experience with the Mathews Ultra Rest which is made by QAD?

Mine was loud but still could kill deer with it. Guess the level of the sound is relative, I just don't like any at all. QAD is pretty much fully contained and the arrow can't fall out of it either.

Maybe I'll try a QAD. I just had good luck keeping my arrow where I wanted it with the biscuit so I went with it. I did do this on one of my bows I shoot carbon arrows I used the aluminum arrow biscuit and that reduced the noise some.

I don't upgrade my bow every year as some, but the QAD upgrade was well worth it. Faster arrows for those skittish E Texas deer

Think I got a trophy taker or what not. some type of drop away right when they started getting more popular. Never had a problem with it other than drawing back a bit to fast and having to reset the arrow with my finger lol.

I replaced my whisker biscuit with a QAD this season and my groups immediately improved. I've only been shooting bows for 2 seasons now and I think it helped out a lot. I got it on EBAY for about half the cost and they guys at my archery shop even set it up for me for free.
Adult late onset hunter. Why did I wait so long to get started?
