55 inches is a very respectable bull. They also make impressive mounts and the meat is excellent.

His horns are tilted back in the pic, not straight up

Look at your pic Cody head is straight down, my bull is looking straight at you and his horns flair back a little already. I posted a pic of a transcaspian the other day that I said was 40 to be safe but said I really thought he was 42, well the new owner came and got him Saturday and he was 42.5. This pic of the kudu don't do this kudu justice and I'm sorry for that but I hope you are not trying to prove me wrong with your pic. We have a few mutual friends as in bill and buster, if I'm wrong on this bull it's not by far

I'm with Ferdi. I think the kudu is going to be under 50" in my opinion. That is not to say anything against the price or the hunt, just simply that unless I am looking at something wrong I don't think he will be mid 50's.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but if the photo that mbavo posted is the Kudu in question, he is nowhere near 55"....not even close. I would estimate him around 45-48"....he is still fairly young.
Once again, not trying to sound negative....I just think potential hunters need to be educated on trophy judging.

Do like I do with my Ibex. If I think it is a certain inch and the customer thinks it is under that I tell them. I will deduct X amount for every inch less than I said if you will add X amount if it is over. That usually ends the discussion. I have never had to deduct.
