Drove to the ranch last night when I got off work to join my wife and daughter who've been here since the 28th. It's cold about 18 degrees and frost is on the ground. Had a couple small axis buck come across the field to feed and some WT does. Small sounder of hogs cleared them all out so I've got bacon on the ground. Guess I'll wait around to see if anything shows.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

A group of about a dozen Axis just left. Three very large bodied mature bucks were in the group but none had a fully grow set of antlers. The largest was about 30" in velvet and still growing. Gonna have to see if I can keep him on our place for a few more months.

Got a bachelor group here now. They all are barely starting to grow.
