I have always hunted at my dads spots which have run dry and have no clue what I should be looking for as far as scouting. I realise the season is nearly over but oh well. I could really use some help as me and my buddy really need a new spot to hunt.

Do what most others do, listen for shots then beat them to the spot the next morning.

Look for other peoples blinds, it usually means that they kill ducks there.
