2 shots 2 birds- heavy rain didn't help. Less numbers than last week. Full plumage GWT for the wall. Had buddy drive 110 miles he didn't even pull trigger- was handling young dog. Saw 15+\- to 9 am. Few mallards landed west of us in am- group of 5 took a small look and moved on

Yup. More birds before front. Heard ZERO shooting. My water gets up a few more inches will expose lots of groceries. Hunting Van Zandt Sunday

Worst hunt of the year by far. Heard maybe 6 shots all morning, not a single bird was interested in my spread, saw probably the fewest ducks I've seen all season. I didn't miss the X, I missed the whole dang alphabet.

I think this front pushed out the birds we had but didn't bring any new ones down.

Saw some decent groups but they were headed out this morning. Wound up with a mallard, widgeon, and gwt.
