Since I moved out of my parents house about eight months ago or so, I bought a little metal shed and have been turning it into my reloading and gun room. When I got it is was empty and just had particle board for the walls. Then I bought all the cabinets where the reloading press and sink are the first go around when home depot had them 20 percent off. Well I was at home depot last night and they were 15 percent off so I decided to buy the rest of the cabinets and counter that I needed to finish. Then my girlfriend wanted to go by hobby lobby so I got some pictures to hang on the walls.

This six foot counter is where I will clean and work on guns. Still need to hang a light above it and get rid of the tool box and get some more of the Inline fabrication mounts that are like what I have behind my two presses.

In the tall left cabinet I have a lot of my hunting clothes that I don't leave at my cabin and all my knives in the drawers. In the tall right cabinet is all my shooting gear, ie mags, bipods, ear muffs and such. Then my safe and gun cases.

Still have to figure out where exactly I want those two cabinets and build some walls around them so they look finished and in place. I also want to build a big cabinet door in front of my safe so it looks like just another cabinet.

Still have two figure out where all the stuff in those three tubs are going to go, that is stuff from my bedroom at my parents old house that I don't know what to do with...

Then the next wall is where all my reloading gear is and where I do the case cleaning by the sink. Still have to plumb it in.

Still got a lot of work to do but it is looking better. I need to get a few more stools, And finish the kick plates for the cabinets and some trim. Also need a better light above my reloading bench so I can get some more light. I am very fortunate to be able to have as much room as I have now and have put a lot of work in to get it where it is.

Thanks
Walter

I have a room in our house that is pretty similar. When we move, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Have considered the additional building somewhat like yours. Glad it is working out for you.

The nice thing about this one is if need buy I can load it up on a trailer and move it or have some one do it if I don't want too. The trade off is it is only 12 ft wide. No matter what it is never big enough lol. I am happy and fortunate to have what I do and make the best use of it. I have found it is much better when clean and organized. The only thing I don't like is the ac issue. Right now I just have a little window unit with no heat. I am saving some money to either put in a mini split of bigger window unit in the wall with heat.

Thank you everyone.
