Mix in a sack of milo with your corn, the deer will skip it for the corn and the quail will love the treat.

I do that also, one half sack of milo with 5 1/2 sacks of corn. only reason I do that is that I have two feeders and the 1/2 sack put in last will filter down as the corn is spent out.

Flag a nearby bush and pour the milo in the bush so the quail can eat in cover. They are exposed at the feeder like that and prone to hawk attacks. The flag is just so you can remember which bush to pour the milo in.
