Silly question, but can a a youth hunter (9 yr old) still shoot a buck in late youth season in Texas? I can't find clear guidelines in the manual. Thanks!

The rules are the same as they are at the beginning of the general season. For example, if you could take antlerless deer and bucks at the start of the general season, kids can take them during the early or late youth seasons. However, normal bag limits apply, which means if they tagged out during the general and earlier youth season, they cannot take additional deer in that same county. But just adult hunters can do, they could take additional deer in other counties where they haven't met the bag limits.
