 Venison question

So I left some venison out last nite to thaw. I forgot to put it in the fridge before I went to bed some was still partially frozen when I went to bed around 1 am. Got up this morning it was thawed and slightly cool to the touch. Would it be ok to use? I'm making jerky out of it
