I am getting light strikes about 50% of the time. The gun has had less than 200rounds through it. It was never shot with the factory trigger....I put a Timney in it right away. thoughts?

Yes, somethings not right with the trigger. I'd take it to a gunsmith or call Timney to discuss.

Trigger or problem in the bolt. You can take the bolt apart and clean it. Have seen enough oil that had hardened in a new 700 to cause lite strikes. Cleaned it up and issues resolved.
