Look on PM forum dial up NortTexashunter. He has a 26 incher we built and I know he is at max max but he is sending me crono pictures of 3650. I know that bullet will vapor pretty soon after that. Yea, figure he has a fast barrel and is running ++P to get there. Of the bullets that will hold together at the high velocities in heavy weights 75gr Swift Sirocco, 70gr Barnes and Berger Target bullets with their heavier jackets. The first of those 2 though you have to keep a close eye on copper fouling as they are both copper not guilding metal bullets.

I don't think he is all that far off, Primers barely flat, We have a 22 incher running the 80 gr bergers at just under 3500, with reloader 19

So what are you thinking the best combo is going to be for this cartridge? Barrel length and twist. I am really wanting to build one. As I just sold my 224 TTH.

I would think twist is a given of a 1/8 now length is what's subjective to your needs and tastes. I like my 24 inch and would do it the same again.
