I had been hunting this 7pt buck for three years now. I'm in an AR county and have already gotten my one buck over 13". My wife and I were in the stand yesterday afternoon and it was very windy, cold, and raining. I thought, nothing will come out in this mess. I was wrong and this brute walked out at 4:30. My heart stopped when I saw it was the 7pt. and I said to her, "I'll buy you Diamond ear rings if you don't shoot that buck and leave him for next year." She pulled the trigger and the buck dropped in it's tracks. Turning to me with a smile on her face, she said, "Sweetheart, your going to buy me diamond ear rings to celebrate my getting this buck." After 38 years, I should have known better. Looking to trade for anything of value!!!!!!!
