Bingo I hate when people let a deer go all year then shoot it just so they can get a deer shoot a doe.

I have let deer go early season to see what the season has to offer. I rarely shoot the first big buck that I see and have let some of the biggest deer of the year walk early and will hunt them late season.

I'm shooting anything legal at this point. If I had the voice I will take a doe. At this point I'll take another pig.

It ain't easy being me.

I can understand the guys that only kill one buck letting one walk early on to see if something bigger shows or its a big cull. I just don't get the guys that kill a small buck just to get a buck at the end of the year.

time to take does if you need the meet, or hope for a "surprise" that hasn't been seen before, IMO

I guess I didn't word my original post correctly.. I'm not saying to shoot a buck I passed at first of season ... I'm saying since there is only a few days left in the season for most of us... If a good buck walked out, would u shoot or let him go hoping that he makes it the few more days and till next year to be a even better buck?...

I didn't want it, I'd let it walk, if I wanted it, I'd take it. Can't control what happens for a few days, just what happens right then and there. If I let it go with that intent, then I will hope he makes it, but some fella over the fence may have let him go early and is in the same conundrum wishing he'd have taken it. It's an odd circle I try not to complicate. I chose right on the spot and live with it either way.
