Subsonic hunting is all about the shot placement. I use both Hornady 208Amax and have some custom made with a bullet that expands from Outlaw State Bullets. The Amax will not expand but will crater a hog with proper shot placement behind ear or in throat. Even the big boars will go down. Miss that area and you have a tracking job to do. The outlaw states are 220 grain and will expand at sub speeds. They are hades on hogs but again its about the shot placement. Have not used on deer but based on what they do to Hogs/Coons at 100 yards I am quite sure they would bring any whitetail down. Can be tricky but sure does make you take a better shot.........Hope that helps some

220 gr hornady round nose. From what I have used the pop bigger holes than the amax but not by much


Isn't it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back everything is different.
