Does anyone have or used these turrets? I just ordered an elevation turret from them for my Vortex Viper HS. I know, I am supposed to research before purchasing lol. I am just interested in what to expect.

My buddy got one for a Nightforce on a 6.5 Creedmore. It looks good and I think works good for him. He wanted something simple and not have to look up dope every time.

They work GREAT and are extremely accurate
BUT !!!
You MUST give them (Kenton), ACCURATE ballistic info, you will need to pick ONE load and shoot it over a chronograph, etc.
The you are pretty much held to using that one particular load. Only draw back
Be prepared to get hammered for asking this question by all the snipers on THF. Ha Ha...
Good luck, let us know how it works out for ya.

Yeah, I just saw Firemans thread on being tired of the custom turret talk. Now I am scared of what I may get here, lol. I have a dope chart and the isnipe app on my iphone. I was just looking for something to speed things up when time is limited on a shot. Thanks for the input guys.

Even chronograph data can be wrong. I don't know how many times I've input Chrono average velocity, ballistic coefficient, and environmental data. Get a calculated trajectory correcetion, shoot it, and it's wrong. A couple tents Mil at 500 is actually quite a bit, it only gets worse the farther out you go. I'm not in the business of close enough. Shoot it, write down "level", .1 or .2 Mil high or low, run it out as far as you can, then go back into the ballistic calculator and adjust MV or BC until calculated data matches what you just shot on the range. Now you have true D.O.P.E. Data On Previous Engagement. If you saw my post, you saw what I wrote down in the little spiral notebook as true DOPE. That was not calculated data, that what what I just shot on the range. There is a difference.
Chronographs get you in the ballpark. Nothing is a substitute for actually shooting the rifle/ scope/ ammo combination on the range.
