Back in about 1982 or so, I got into reloading. Bought myself an RCBS primer seating tool for $12.95 plus tax and used it for about 30 years until it broke. I had never had anything from RCBS break, but I had heard that they had a lifetime warranty on their gear. So I called them. I sent them the busted part and they sent me the very last one they had of that model. The service guy said that they found one on a dusty back shelf. I used it for 2 years and it broke in the same place the first one did. I called RCBS, sent them the dead tool and they just sent me the replacement (with the primer tray). That's pretty darn good customer service.

Yup, wish other industries had customer service like the reloading companies.

I sure wouldn't speculate as to why, but when I call them they never ask me to send the broken item. They just ask me for my address and I get the thing I need in two or three days.

Come to think of it, I didn't send that first busted one back. I guess they wanted to be sure the new one was busted before they upgraded me. Or...maybe I sounded suspicious.

I really liked that old single seater priming tool. Had good seating feel.

They are terrific to deal with. When you finally get taken off hold, and get to talk to a person they are all about speed and power. Getcha fixed up, and hang up. Parts show up in two or three days.

I called them about a USED case trimmer I got that was missing the collets. There was just one I needed at the time. They sent the entire set plus extra hardware FREE without prompt.

Redding is great too. Bought a set of 280AI dies and neither of the seater plugs liked Nosler AB's (they both bottomed out on the tip of the bullet). Called them and they knew the problem right away. Received the new seater plug free of charge three days later and it works like a charm.
