It feels very light (for an AR10) and very balanced, even with the very light buttstock on it. I took it out over the weekend for a quick function test. I wasn't too concerned about group size as it was cold and windy and I am not 100% sure this is the optic I will run long term. Initial shots were within 3/4" with Barnes 168 Vortex. I have a Mark6 3-18 showing up today I plan to try on it as well. I am running my Templar Tactical Archangel on it though it might get switched out for the Nemesis30 which is much shorter, just not as quiet. I hope to get it on Wednesday to stretch it's legs to 1K and then hunt for 4 days starting Friday. I will also get a chance to do some real group testing with various ammo. The gun ran 100% with and without the can and there was zero gas blowback in my face. I would say they got the gas port and buffer setup tuned right.

Nice set up. What turrets are you getting on the Mark 6?
If you shoot a young deer because a neighbor will shoot it, you are that neighbor.

I hope the new C2s.. I am not sure what they shipped though. I called my contact at Leupold who was out and put me in touch with another guy.. He overnighted the scope and so I will see when it shows up. There was a volley of quick emails and I requested the C2..

Cool. Which reticle did you go with? I got the C2 version with the TMR for $2599 to my door. I love the scope. Only thing I have found is the 0 mark on the scope is slightly off from the zero stop on the turret. I've heard that it can be sent back and they can adjust it. I think I can live with it for now.
