Shoot mommy or piglets first? Suppose mom is shot first - I assume piglets will stick around?? Shoot a piglet first - I assume mommy sticks around?? If both assumptions are correct then it doesn't matter I suppose. Maybe nobody sticks around when SHTF regardless of who drops??

Shoot the big ones first, they can cause the most property damage.

Shoot the big ones first, they can cause the most property damage. Straightforward logic there. Thanks.

yep, shoot the big ones first. I've shot a "mommy pig" and the piglets kept coming back and running around. Shot a couple of them too before they decided to leave for good.

If u want them gone, shoot momma. The little ones are more likely to return a few seconds or even 30 minutes later for follow up shots and will probably make easy bacon the following days/weeks. . If u want them around to hunt after deer season shoot the little bacons and let momma keep breeding.
Fast paced gregarious society forgets the healing power of solitude. It's worked thousands of years. Casting a line/gazing into a campfire/sitting in a blind after a long week is medicine for the soul. The serenity and peacefulness of it all is majestic.

drop the sow and the piglets will generally stay. drop a piglet and the rest of them are gone. momma will not even look back.
