congrats. That was one of my favorite and most memorable hunts I have ever done. give us more information on hunt story.

Also I remember you asking for information on how to get the hide back, how did that work out for you ? Also did you bring home the meat,

Once again congrats great cat

we cut tracks for 3 days. saw tracks but the guide said they were too small. we ended up finding this guys tracks on morning of day 3. he released the dogs and they went about 1.5 miles up a huge mountain of Rock. 3 of the dogs got stuck and a small sole dog got around the hole they were stuck in...that dog ran that cat another 3.5 miles up some of the most treacherous terrain you'll see...she treed him and had him up a small cedar tree. we hiked up around 600 yards almost straight up (approx 9000' elevation)...it was pretty brutal! My son and I got to the tree and the lion was a mere 10' above us hissing. being totally honest I was pretty nervous! I pulled out my pistol as my son got under the cat. one shot to the chest and the cat buckled and fel
out of the tree. it was so amazing!
