Hey Folks, So I have about 15 to 20 different size pelican cases. Some from working overseas and needing something that was tough and reliable to carry my sensitive equipment as well as my personal gear. Pelican Cases have always been known for rugged reliability and they know this, hence the hefty price tag. I have also owned a couple Gorilla boxes and some other less expensive brands that have cracked or broken apart over time or in some cases, during the initial shipment. Even with the larger price I wont buy anything else, and this is why:
One of my Pelican cases, Storm Case iM2950, had broken wheels after getting jacked up on flight back from Afghanistan. I had searched for ages on the web and could not find anywhere that you could buy the wheel assembly to fix it. Sure, there are some Youtube videos showing how folks can buy rollerblade wheels and ad hoc attach them. A lot of the time you have to keep fixing the fix so to speak. Then I broke down and shot an email to Pelican asking why they had such great products and they have replacement parts for latches, pressure relief valves, handles and of course, Foam - why don't they have one for the frickin wheels? I explained how I have owned quite a few cases from them that cover a myriad of devises and such that I want protected but if a wheel goes and the case is carrying something heavy - I guess I would be SOL. I never expected a reply but hoped for something, anything even. Well this right here is why I will remain faithful customer to them. Last night I got an email from Pelican Customer Service Dept. They have shipped me off a set of replacement wheels and the mounts for my exact case model free of any charges!
Thanks Brandi King@ PelicanCustServ
Cheers,
TX Grubby

I love hearing good customer service stories. Pelican seems like a great product and company. Well worth the price.
Yeah, don't listen to me. I'm just an idiot.
Lol. Duckbill that was funny! The dude up top has already taken lots of bone before this deer, both mule and whitetail.

Traveled all over the world and I too will only use pelican cases. I have 6 of them and I can testify they are in fact waterproof on two occasions.
Glad to hear customer service is as advertised.
