Had it happen a time or two. Usually was a low battery that caused the the timer to malfunction. Happy deer but sad hunter when he has to spend more money to fill feeder again.

Oh man that sucks, but on the other hand the deer will appreciate it.

BIL filled the drum on Sunday 11/30. It dumped on Tuesday 12/2. I found it on Thursday 12/4. The battery was good on 11/30 and was good when I checked it on 12/4. If the battery was weak, how could it spin out all the corn? The feed times were all wrong when I check it on Thursday. I believe the time changed when it spun till the battery died. The timer has work flawlessly for 1 1/2 years.
I had a spare timer and battery at camp but dont think it needed to spin accept the deer are trained to come to the sound pretty good.
BTW - All the corn was cleaned up by Saturday!
Game camera caught it all...
