I've put 2500 rounds down a 260. Enough to cook the barrel out. I have 300 rounds down a 6.5 Creedmoor. The 260 shot tiny and made a 140 gr A-max go 2800 fps. The 6.5 Creedmoor shoots tiny and makes a 140 A-max go 2810 fps, on virgin brass.
The Creedmoor has a lower ES and was easier to find "the" load. So you decide for yourself based on that.

Oh, and the Creedmoor is making that velocity with one grain less, of the same powder as the 260. H-4350 in both.

And creed feeds and cycles better being shorter with steeper shoulder
