Oh idk I saw this pic from guy who shot it and I agree dog it's pretty sweet lookin, but this is like a ridiculous spike, I've shot one before with 13 inch spike blade on one side and big 4 point on the other but this deer takes spike to a new level

Dog looks like a blue lacey or however you spell it. That's a heck of a spike! A guy out at our lease shot one with some 11" spikes earlier this year. Should have got some pics of it bang

Shot one earlier this year that had 9 inch spikes and dressed over 100 lbs, little over 130 lbs live weight.

The buck in the first pic appears to have broken mainbeams and could have had possibly a few tines. He is not a yearling buck by any means.

Not odd at all on a really aggressive buck. Seen them with only stubs for mainbeams left with both beams broken at or below the browtines.

here is a tag question for you. i already tagged a spike. IF i were to go after this one, does he still qualify under the buck tag?

As long as there is no branch greater than an inch yes.

I would say in my opinion it follows the letter of the law but not the spirit if it makes any dif to you.

I thought axis hybrid as well ... we had one on a corporate place in the 80s outside Rocksprings that had a very similar look (although half the length) and the ranch manager swore it was a hybrid.
