Talking about the 6mm Remington necked down to .224? The most popular version of that one is the 224 TTH, there are others 22 Creedmoor, 22-243, 22 Middlestead.... The 223 WSSM has about the same powder capacity as most of those.

Faster than the 220 Swift and most get them chambered in faster twist barrels like 1:8 for handling 75 to 80 grain bullets and push them fast. There are some that also go for slower twist barrels for pushing 40gr bullets really fast like 4200fps or faster.

The version I have is a 22-243 with a 1:8 27 inch barrel and with 75gr Swift Siroccos at 3300fps it makes for a good whitetail and pig round or about anything else that size or smaller. 80gr Nosler custom competition bullets are sure destructive on yotes and raccoons.

There are no free lunches with them though being over bore cartridges barrel life is not what you would consider long.

The case capacity is about 1 grain more than the 223WSSM and have read about and used the 223WSSM reloading data for a starting point when working up loads. How long is your barrel?

Mine in 22-243 is a 27 inch Hart barreled Remington 700 action.

love my 22 creed, cycles better than the 22-243 and I believe the 22-6mm rem is actually the 22 TTHA and I think it normally runs in a long action rather than the short action,

The .22-6mm was around way before they started calling it the .224 TTH

.22 coyote was a popular name for the wildcat

I had one several years ago built by hill country rifle. Fun round. 6mm is getting tougher to find though
