So.. I rarely get to actually HUNT when I go to the ranch... I live for the last week of year...kiddos are with the in-laws and wife and I get to spend a week at the ranch. I have been busy as heck, so have not posted, so figured to ramble a bit and say hello to you fine people. I shot my first whitetail at the ranch in the 4 years we have owned it.. a spike.. lol I needed to take that bugger out and figured, "what the heck". End of the month, I plan to take 2 more deer and some hogs. Life is good. Hope you all enjoy your time during the holidays! I'll post some pics later! Oh, a friend shot a nice 12-point at the ranch and we shot 2 nice Axis bucks as well this season.  Russ
Hunting is easy..it's getting permission from your wife that is tough.

STX, you need to make it down one of these days and hang out. I also need to get Erathkid out there again if I can break him away from that hidden stash of Coors  Russ

STX, you need to make it down one of these days and hang out. I also need to get Erathkid out there again if I can break him away from that hidden stash of Coors Russ The only way you can entice me away from my Coors is to rattle a 12 pack of Blue Moon. I'm there, anytime after the holidays. Gas is cheap and I'm always ready to roll. Nice Buck, Russ. Really nice, I'm impressed. Of course where you are is game infested.
