Man looks like a blast.

Looking at those pictures makes our 320 acres seem REALY small... you could probably see 2 or 3 of our properties or more from one spot.

You can see the radio tower and barn on top of Beard Mountain to the west from those spots. It was 20 miles as the crow flies from where you sat in some of those pics looking west.

The pasture you were sitting in on top of that hill close to the HWY is only 7116 acres out of your 10k. The pasture NW that joins it was 6888 acres. You can see the other pastures joining those from there also. Where BowsnRods killed his buck was 11 miles straightline to the north of you. You can probably see that Tobosa Grass on a clear day from there where his buck was at.

I did take a few pics but not many on the trip. You took a whole lot more than I did. I took the camera out of the case 5-6 times, with 2 of those to take pics of you guys bucks. Here is a buck that we saw one day. I saw him again one day when he walked out at 103 yards and took the first pic below. I walked to within 62 yards and then 32 yards taking pics. He was on the little rise just to the north that we sat on to find your buck.

Well, 10k acres is 31 1/2 sections so it would be like looking over 31 of your ranches

Land out there dosent go as far as it does in south Texas or the hill country you need alot of it

On that radio tower hill I could see the interstate.

From that vantage point I could probably see 40-50k acres looking in 3 directions

That was about 13 miles away.
