so what are the best low budget spotting scopes that can be used for mule deer hunting in south west texas area?

Pretty darn good optics for the dollar... Pentax 65mm ED

Low dollar...not good but passable... Konus 20x60 80mm

Really good high end optics for not much money...Kowa TS -661. All in for $800-$850, it will last a life time.
