Would recommend Danner, pull up eyelets have rollers so strapping up is a breeze.

I have two pair, one pair of Chippewa's for dove hunting and warmer weather and a pair of Lacrosse with light insulation that work best in winter temps. Both very comfortable.

I have a set of Cabela's lace-ups and I'll never buy lace-ups again. Gonna try the Chips next.

The best??? Russell Prickleypear bird shooters! They are made for your feet, wonderful materials, and will last for years.

Danner Pronghorn Snakeboots are the most comfortable for me. I worn these same boots heavily over multiple seasons, and was standing in water last night in them. They still don't leak.
Only care I have given them is, I try to keep the leather from drying out by rubbing them with something like Obernauf's boot dressing every once in a while. It seems to have done the job.
I can walk for literally hrs per day, and not have my feet hurt.

I've worn LaCrosse the last 3 seasons. Very comfortable, warm, and dry. They're lace up with zippers on the side. Easy on and off. I don't mess with the laces at all.

Chippewas. No question.

Buy em here. "imperfects" at 40% discount to retail. There's nothing wrong with the imperfects and you'll get them in 3 days.
