My wife and I built this one last summer   What did yal use for the ceiling? Really nice cabin!

We used plywood for the ceiling then covered it with rough cut western red cedar to give it a rustic look but the plywood makes it tight so no insulation falls through the cracks. Looks like a old barn

Some real beauties have been posted up. Mine is not too fancy (no power and no running water) but it keeps me dry and warm: That is a Christmas card picture!!!

I can imagine what a beautiful sight it is when you walk up to it when you're FREEZING! If I could post pics I'd share our cabin with y'all. This is always one of my favorite threads.

Might be the oldest hunting cabin listed so far....just turned 100 years old this year. We use this old farm house for our hunting camp and weekend get-away.  Boy, that's a frosty beverage sittin' porch if I've ever seen one. Nice digs.
