I made a great pot of chili last Thursday night. I froze 2 quarts and had a big bowl of chili for dinner two nights. I still have a couple of quarts in the frig. I have a hankering for spaghetti and meat sauce before the Christmas stuff gets started. Tonight I'm adding some oregano to a pint of chili and having it over spaghetti along with garlic bread, and steamed lemon broccoli.
Ever had it?

Used to eat it a lot. I have to have more tomato base in my spaghetti. Carolyn fixed goulash without the noodles last night.

yep, I'd toss a little tomato sauce in and eat away ... actually, I wouldn't but my wife would ... I'd do straight chili.

Add some tomato of your choice and a bit of sugar. Maybe more garlic.

I just finished.
It was kind of like the time I took this beautiful woman hunting with me. The hunting was great and the woman was great, but hunting messed up the romance and the romance messed up the hunting.
From now on I'll use marinara in my spaghetti and enjoy a great bowl of chili separately.

We usually mix some picante sauce with marinara sauce for spaghetti.

My kids used to love chilighetti. To tell the truth, I did too. Haven't had it I awhile. Good with cheddar cheese and chopped onion.

I can't stand oregano, so no I've never tried it. That herb is one of the few things I don't like. Also don't really like spaghetti anymore because that is the main thing my first wife of 11 yrs cooked, allll the time and we ate day after day. I do love chili I would eat just chili over noodles. Just no tomato sauce with oregano in it.

It is called Cincinnati Chili at some chili houses. My wife and daughter prefer it.

Stay away from Cincinnati chili. That slop has cinnamon in it. Absolutely nasty!
