Culture shock

That's a cool trip. I need to start doing that stuff. I've only hunted in Texas and Colorado. No other states. The sad part is that I've been to most of them for business, not hunting.

If anybody is still following along we should have some hunting posts and nice pics of snow and deer tonight. I got about four hours left of driving up north then I'm crawling in a tree somewhere.

Father in law killed a doe last night and even I could follow the trail.

I guess my luck has ran out. I've yet to see a deer here but the evidence is everywhere I just keep picking the wrong spot. I spent the last few hours reading through this book that goes back to 2010, it was a great read and worth the sit to see what had happened over the years where I was sitting.

Those are pretty Cool, took some clients to hunt the White Hat Ranch outside of Sweetwater years ago and they had those and I missed some good deer coming in getting caught up on reading those entries

I just bought a feed store and threw it in the woods. I got enough feed out for the whole herd to get through winter.
That's 50 pounds of corn a bale of alfalfa and 50 pounds of beats and that's just one spot, if a deer is around he should smell all that.

I think I have 50 pounds of corn under my feeder right now. Two seconds at a time.

Well Michigan won. I never seen a deer from the stand but some grouse came out so I did a quick google search and it was legal so I shot at 21 yards and all I got was a few feathers on my arrow. I would love to have gotten that with a bow.

Deer won't play so I will. We got these machines and raised some hell. We only tore up one so that's not bad.

That does it for the hunting on this thread. Here's a couple pics I just took but the hunting part of the trip is over. I'm gonna go to downtown Detroit and take pics of the people, homeless people amaze me, not in a way that I look down on them but admire how they can survive. I don't feel sorry for them as most made their choices but it's 20 degrees and they are sleeping on the streets. I'll give them money to take their picture though.

I walked out on lake to get pics of this eagle eating something but the ice cracked so I ran screaming like an idiot back to shore so the pic sucks but I'll process it at home.
