I am looking getting into reloading. This kit is on sale online through MidwayUSA.com

has anyone used this kit? is this a good starter kit? what other things would I need to get started? is there a better kit out there? any input would be appreciated.

I have one and it comes with most of the essentials. You can make good ammo with it, you just move a little slower. I bought a digital scale and some other upgrades later but I got them because I wanted them not because I needed them.

I have it and like it. The RCBS press seems better but the Hornady works fine. The electronic scale isn't great. Everything else in the kit is good.

Great start. I actually like the Hornady better than RCBS because of the lock n load sleeves....don't like the having to thread in your dies everytime you change.

I have most of my LNL set for sale here because I upgraded to the Forster Co-Ax.

Hornady kit is a good one. Have used several of their presses and scales, along with herters, lee, lyman, rcbs and forster coax. Favorite of those is the coax but all have loaded some very good ammo.

The stuff other than the press over time you will find your favorite items, not crazy about the scale in that kit but it does work.

Good luck, ask questions when you have them and welcome to the addiction
