Anybody went from one to the other?Preference? I've got the QAD atm but that G5 sure does look like a better design. Haven't had a chance to try it yet.

What do you not like about the qad? I've never heard one complaint from someone that shoots one.

Had my QAD since I bought my Matthews in 2009. Had a nice Ripcord on my bow before that. Both are good rests, but I like how the QAD doesn't drop unless you shoot.

I can't really comment on the G5 full containment(though I had the G5 Expert II). I shoot the QAD now and it is a great rest, more accurate than most archers will ever be and easy to tune. I no longer even look at other rests. Full containment and stays in place until you shoot even if you let down. Just a solid performer.

The G5 is just an updated Limb driver pro design. Don't think G5 has ever created anything on their own. They usually buy a product rights from another company, or find a non patented design It should be a great rest. I had a limb driver pro and was always real happy with it. I do shoot a QAD HDX now. When I upgraded bows the dealer wasn't a Vaper trail dealer but was a QAD.
