Well i finally got what I call a steal. The price was right. I started a different boat blind project but sold it for a good profit. This one is perfect. 22 foot, 60 hp, the floor is poly, trailer is brand new.
This will have a kitchen, a crapper and heaters. The last time I spent the night in a boat waiting on the opener, I was hammered on JD,it was 38 degrees and i woke up with the rain on my face. No more of that. Air matress,a roof and heaters. That how I will be rolling.

I will be very interested to watch this build! One question… How shallow does that draft? Seems like that would be one down side to it.

Looks to me it will draft in a foot of water. That is a downside but it is what it is. I thought about a longtail for it.

When i got to the yard and stopped, one tire on one side looked like a matted hairbrush. It was completely shredded. The one in front of it was holding the rear one up just enought to keep the rear rim from getting damaged. So I go to see what all damage happened and as I walked up, the front one collapsed. Wahoooooo all I asked was to get it hhome. We made it clap

I have built a few, they are big, comfortable and fun to hunt out of! This was the last one I built for a customer. Had aluminum studs, lockable, bench, 4 swivel seats, table with grille, portable potty with small covering, heather stands for 5gal propane and a stripper pole! <jk.

Bad arse Cody!!!! I am guessing that is a fall away shooting door made out of R panel? Do you have any inside pics showing the whole floorplan?

Would be perfect at my lake this year, water is 3 or 4 feet deep at the teelines. I have no clue why they are not letting any water out. You walk through knee deep water 100 yards before you even get to the shoreline. You almost have to have a boat blind to hunt most spots.

Well it is a dern shame I haven't even started the project. If it were done I'd be inviting myself to take you along.

up I have four rather large projects in the works, well 5 actually. Boat blind, a porch on my pump house so I can have a fish/game claning station with running water and lights, We are building a small cabin on the place for a guest house, We are in the planning stages of flooding an additional 10 to 15 acres at the duck lease, a 10 person-5 porch swing fire ring sitting area area and last but not least, a smokehouse.

The duckpond will be a major project. We will have to build a 6 yard dam 15 foot high and 36 foot at the base. We have to haul every grain of dirt in with a dump truck. I aint scared, otherwise I would sit on the couch with a remote control to the TV.

This link is the swing fire ring thingy. My wife has been yelping about a gazeebo for years. They are expensive and never get used beyond the first time you use it. Fortunately I talked this up and she wants it over the gazebo. I have been cutting huge cedar trees at the lease to use instead of store bought beams. It is cheap and they will look so mych better once I strip the bark and treat the crdar with a water proofer.

I have hunted out of a pontoon blind before. we always hunted it on the "main lake" so skinny water wasn't an issue...it was a dream to hunt out of though!!

Looks Great,Do you have any idea on how much weight this added to your pontoon boat?

I would imagine the weight on his boat would have been equal to or less than when it had rails, center console and furniture.
