OK so basically I decided to shoot ducks this yr, and that led me to buying a boat. Well I'm the type of guy who likes everything nice and to work properly. So here's some pics of before and after. I'm still not done. It's almost there. Hopefully me and the kidos will have fun w it. If it works out I'm sure this will develop into a nice gator Trax one day.

So here a little back ground info. Picked this beauty up off craigslist. Drove to granbury to get it. Turned the corner from leaving the sellers house and the trailer came off the ball. Hey no worries. So begin the trip home. Going down the road the lights are shorting out still I can deal w this. Get on 820 and I see smoke coming from the trailer. One of the tires had blown. Not good. So this is where the rebuild begins.

Broke tiller handle gear. Let me tell you about searching the internet for parts. I found em! Replaced the tiller handle gears so now duck slayer, which I named the boat can go full wide open.

New everything for the trailer. Sandblast and powdercoat, new jack arm new trailer lights and wiring, new trailer boards and carpet. New tires and rims.

If you don't mind sharing, what did you spend on the trailer?
