So I want to order a 6mm barrel for a build. Almost everything ready to buy on the shelf is 1.8 twist. I want to stay with 90 gr bullets. The 1.8 is best for 105's. Im trying to avoid the long barrel wait, will 1.8 do be good for 90's.

A little more twist than you actually "need" is not a bad thing.

Run the 1:8" you'll be fine.

I wish my .243 was 1:8. Would give me a better high end range on projos - I can stabilize 100's, but just barely. Anything over that, or long bearing surface projos will keyhole.
Your barrel will shoot 90's just fine.

the 1-8 twist is a good choice to go with unless you want to shoot the really light bullets. But if you decide to shoot a litter bigger than 90 someday the 1-8 will work great.

Just the new guy here, but a quick question; Have you tried all your powder options yet? I know a few degrees North or South on the ole BRC can have some pretty satisfying results w/o retooling the bench much or swappin' a barrel. ;-)

I bought a new stock and I don't like how light my factory tikka is, so I'm going to make it the way I want
